Our Story

Sweet Freedom Ranch was founded in 2010 by Larry and Donna Chumley with the hopes of sharing their love of nature with others and their location in Okfuskee County allows them to accomplish this. They do not have 20 hunters in camp with limited sightings. Their ranch is an elite small town outfitter hosting only 4 hunters per day spread across 1200 acres and one of the only Outfitters in Oklahoma that allows day hunts. Because of this, it allows a success rate of 80%-90% year in and year out as well as many returned hunters. Sweet Freedom ranch offers individual day hunts beginning at sunrise and ending at sunset as well as multi overnight stays in a climate controlled private cabin. The meals are apart of the package for overnight stayers and custom to the hunters dietary requirements. They hunt from elevated box blinds, ground blinds, and ladder stands. Guide will transport you to and from hunting locations, track and transport and field dress your deer. If staying multiple days, skinning and deboning is available and your deer will be stored in a cold room until your departure.
